At Joan & Co., we believe a lampshade should do considerably more than simply sit about holding a bulb. It should cause compliments, mild envy, and occasionally a dramatic rearrangement of the sitting room.
Handmade in Britain, with a great deal of tea, determination, and questionable amounts of fabric samples, our lampshades are designed for people who like their homes charming, distinctive, and just a little bit eccentric.

If you like it but wish it was slightly more you, we offer custom made-to-order lampshades. Different sizes, different fabrics, slightly different obsession with detail - we can usually sort it.
Interior designers are very welcome (we like people who speak in mood boards and strong opinions about lighting).
